Are you passionate about connecting children to the natural world? Project Wild Rooted is looking for an educator for our nature-based enrichment program for homeschool families!
This position follows a 28-week school-year schedule (September–April), Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, with planning time built in. Salary is $18–$25/hour, based on experience.
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in elementary education with the ability to build and differentiate curriculum for students ages 5.5 to 10 years old.
Passionate about nature and the environment, excited to teach outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
Patient, fun, and loves working with children, able to quickly connect and form positive relationships with students.
Committed to learning alongside students, open to exploring new ideas and discoveries as a co-learner.
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment in an outdoor setting.
