Tinker Tots

At Tinker Tots, our approach to learning is centered on shared exploration, movement, and curiosity. Designed for children ages 2–3 with a parent or caregiver, this program invites families to slow down and experience nature together through hands-on, play-based activities. Little ones explore the outdoors, engage their senses, and build confidence as they move, touch, carry, and create alongside a trusted adult.

At Tinker Tots, children gain meaningful early learning experiences through movement, exploration, and connection. Each one-hour session supports large motor development, coordination, and body awareness through active play and group exploration.

With a parent or caregiver actively participating alongside them, children build resilience, social awareness, and confidence in a safe, joyful environment. The program also gently introduces children to structured time through whole-group activities and story time, helping them practice listening, participating, and transitioning between activities while fostering early connections to the natural world and a love of learning.

Parents gain meaningful connections while building community with other families, growing their support network, and enjoying shared experiences in a safe, welcoming space where their child can explore, play, and thrive alongside others.

Tinker Tots is a one-hour, parent-and-child program designed especially for children ages 2–3. Sessions are offered at various times throughout the year, allowing families to join when it works best for their schedule. Each session is its own experience, and families register and pay per session rather than committing to a full season.

The cost is $20 per session, and one parent or caregiver actively participates alongside their child for the entire hour. Because Tinker Tots is intentionally hands-on and interactive, we strongly encourage families to bring only the registered child to each session. While this is not a requirement, focusing on one child allows you to fully guide, support, and engage in their experience without the distraction of tending to additional children. This helps ensure a calm, meaningful, and positive experience for both you and your child.

Single sessions are offered on selected days within each season. If your desired class is sold out, please add yourself to the waitlist.
